Here is what I used while doing end of tenancy carpet cleaning. Good old club soda works extremely well on carpet stains. But only if you attack the spot immediately. Remove all solid particles and pour club soda on the stain, then blot with a cotton cloth.

Another green tip for deep cleaning is treating spots with liquid soap and white distilled vinegar.

Vinegar works well as a wood floor polisher. Mix 1/4 cup white distilled vinegar with 30 ounces warm water. If you want to deodorize you floor you can pour few drops of your favourite essential oil. Mop the floor with the solution.

Water and baking soda paste can help you green clean your oven. Spread the paste inside the oven and let it sit overnight. Put your rubber gloves on and rub all dirty fringes. Wipe the paste off with a dump cloth.
